It is a bleak Mother’s Day for 60-year-old Tazma Bi as she is without her only son for the first time in her life.
Bi recalled last year’s Mother’s Day celebration where everyone was happy and overjoyed but no one knew that it would be her son, Mohammed Aziz’s final Mother’s Day.
The 60-year-old widow has four children which includes three daughters and her only son who police say allegedly drowned on Wednesday.

Bi says that even when his cousins would ask him to stay the night, the son would always refuse and his reasoning would be that he needs to take care of his mother.
She says the final conversation she had with her son was on Wednesday morning where she told him to leave early to catch the earliest bus so he would not have to walk.
Aziz was laid to rest on Friday.
Police investigations in the matter continue.
