Former Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama has been questioned and released from the CID Headquarters.
Bainimarama did not want to make any comments while leaving the CID Headquarters.
Lawyer, Devanesh Sharma says they cannot make any comments now, but the questioning will continue today.
According to Bainimarama’s lawyer, they arrived at the CID Office in Toorak at 3.30pm yesterday.
Chief of Intelligence, Investigations and Prosecutions, Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police Sakeo Raikaci had earlier said that Bainimarama is being questioned in relation to a report lodged of alleged inciteful comments made in a media release.
