A 1 year 10-month-old baby boy is admitted at Labasa Hospital after drinking kerosene at their home in Labasa yesterday morning.
Police say the kerosene was in a juice bottle and placed in the kitchen.
The incident happened when his 36-year-old mother was breast-feeding her nine-month old baby.
Police Spokesperson Josaia Weicavu says kerosene and other chemicals should not be filled and kept in juice bottles to avoid such incidents.
