BSP Life and its subsidiaries Future Farms Ltd (trading as Rooster Chicken) and Oceania Hospitals, with the support of Sofitel Fiji, handed over a $20,000 cheque to WOWS Kids.

This was the culmination of its 50 Million Steps in 60 Days campaign for WOWS.

BSP Life Managing Director Michael Nacola says one of the objectives of the campaign was health and wellness.

He says as a leading life and health insurer it is their duty to lead by example by taking care of themselves and their families to combat the dreadful effects of non-communicable diseases.

Nacola adds the second objective, which is the most important, is supporting children suffering from cancer.

He says they are grateful to the WOWS Kids foundation for all the great work they do, and they hope their small contribution will assist them in caring for our vulnerable children.

WOWS Kids Team leader, Mere Lutuciri-Williams thanked BSP Life, Future Farms Ltd and Oceania hospitals for the support.

She says this support is very timely as they struggled through COVID, and BSP Life and its subsidiaries have helped them increase their outreach and cover essential costs for the children, who come from all across Fiji.
