The All Blacks have reclaimed the mantle as the world rugby's No.1 side after thumping Argentina 36-13 in their second Rugby Championship clash in Brisbane last night.

Rugby.com.au reports that the All Blacks needed to win by 15 points or more to overtake South Africa, who had earlier lost for the second-straight week to Australia.

Patrick Tuipulotu scored the game's first try before TJ Perenara darted over and Tupou Vaa'i crossed just before the break for New Zealand.

Samisoni Taukei'aho and Vaa'i's tries in the second half sealed the deal for the All Blacks.

The All Blacks bonus-point win has increased their lead in the points table to 20 points, followed by the Springboks with 10 points, Australia is third with 9 points while the Pumas are still scoreless.

In next week’s matches, the All Blacks will meet the Springboks at 7.05pm Saturday and the Wallabies face Argentina at 10.05pm Saturday.
