15 Air Terminal Services workers have returned to work in the last three days after they walked off their jobs on the 16th of this month.

This was confirmed by ATS in a statement which also states that overwhelming interest is being shown in the ATS temporary vacancies that were advertised.

ATS says that hand-delivered applications have arrived at ATS even though walk-in interviews are not scheduled until Friday 29th December.

It was stated that while remuneration for some positions at ATS are above market rates, ATS also provides some of the best working conditions in Fiji.

ATS adds that all 639 ATS employees have comprehensive outpatient medical cover, including overseas evacuation to New Zealand and  Australia, fully funded by the Company.

In its statement, ATS says that they continue to urge workers to take advantage of the ATS Board Chairman’s offer and to return to work.

Meanwhile, the ATS Employees Trust and locked out workers met with the Minister for Employment Jone Usamate yesterday.

We will have more on this later today.
