The 2018 Fiji Fashion Week will be a platform for more than 100 student designers to showcase their talents with the youngest designer being 14-years-old.
Founder of Fiji Fashion Week Ellen Whippy-Knight who will be helping out with the show says this year the Fiji Fashion Week will only have 2 shows adding that the first show will be on 25th of this month which is the Resort Cruise and the second show the Resort Luxe night.
Whippy-Knight says during the day they will have the students’ show which is one of the biggest growing sections of the Fashion Industry.
She says the youngest designer, Rafa Ganilau Lee is one who has the potential to be in an international fashion school, considering his raw talent.
Whippy-Knight says the fashion show has brought in designers from overseas, which is very important, allowing local designers to be exposed to International designers expected to showcase their line are from China, New Delhi, Vietnam and Australia.
The Fiji Fashion Week will begin from the 25th to the 26th of this month at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva.
