14 employees of Kontiki Finance Limited have been made redundant as their positions have been removed as a result of a restructure in business due to COVID-19.

Kontiki Finance Limited says the restructure of the business will provide more efficient retention processes and these are being implemented alongside the new organizational structure.

They say no further redundancies are anticipated at this time.

Kontiki Finance Limited has 156 employees.

They also say they are committed to assisting customers experiencing hardship by giving those who have their income affected by COVID-19 a repayment holiday period.

They say 10 percent of their customers are being assisted due to COVID-19.
