As the Northern Division continues to grow, about 600 jobs have been created after the opening of the Damodar City in Labasa last year.

Damodar Group CEO Div Damodar highlighted this in an interview with fijivillage News and says the $60 million investment aims at enhancing the economic opportunities for the people and the businesses.

The CEO further says while a few spots are available in Damodar City, they have been receiving a lot of applications however, they want to deliver the best for the community.

When asked if they are planning any other future projects, Damodar says they are currently focusing on the completion of Damodar City.

He adds Damodar City is also paving other development opportunities with brighter prospects for further investments.
