A 43-year-old man has been remanded for aggravated robbery after allegedly assaulting and robbing a taxi driver in Nadi on the 31st of last month.
Police say he allegedly assaulted a 52-year-old taxi driver before stealing cash, a mobile phone and the victim's taxi.
The vehicle was later recovered abandoned at Navakai Housing.
Police have also confirmed that he is the same suspect allegedly involved in two separate attacks on taxi drivers in Wainibokasi last month.
In both incidents which were highlighted by fijivillage News, the taxi drivers were assaulted and their taxis were stolen.
According to Police, the suspect fled to the Western Division after the Wainibokasi incidents and was later arrested.
