Serious concerns are being raised after a woman was seen assaulting a 20-year-old female student on a bus travelling from Laucala Bay to the Suva Bus Stand.
In a video sent to fijivillage News by a concerned citizen, the woman is seen pulling the younger woman's hair.
She then gets out of her seat, appears to have a verbal argument with other passengers, walks to the front of the bus, pushes another female high school student out of her seat, and then gets off the bus.
The incident occurred yesterday morning.
A relative of the student has told fijivillage News that it was an unprovoked attack and they do not know each other.
He says the matter has been reported at the Suva Market Police Post and a medical examination has also been done.
