England will make a late decision on Declan Rice's fitness ahead of Thurday's World Cup semi-final against Argentina.
The Arsenal midfielder is recovering from a sickness bug but there is growing optimism he will be fit to start after showing significant improvement over the past 48 hours.
Head coach Thomas Tuchel says a final decision will be made closer to kick-off.
Rice was substituted at half-time during England's 2-1 extra-time quarter-final win over Norway after falling ill before the match.
The 78-cap midfielder has also been managing a lower back and hamstring neural issue for several months.
Meanwhile, England will take on Argentina in the World Cup semi-final this Thursday at 7am, while Spain will face France in the other semi-final tomorrow at 7am.
