The Suva Grammar School Under-19 rugby side came from 12-3 down at halftime to defeat Nasinu Secondary School 25-19 in the Vodafone Deans Southern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby Union final at Grammar Ground this afternoon.
Nasinu started strongly, scoring two tries in the first half to take a 12-3 lead at halftime. However, Grammar regrouped in the second half and managed to break through Nasinu's defence.
Grammar scored three second-half tries through hard work and perseverance to complete the comeback victory.
In other results, MGM High School beat Suva Grammar School 20-10 to claim the Under-14 title, Suva Grammar edged rivals Marist Brothers High School 24-17 in the Under-15 final, MGM High defeated Nasinu Secondary School 19-12 in the Under-16 final, and Suva Grammar edged Gospel High School 23-22 in the Under-17 final.
