Two men have been arrested in relation to a video that went viral on social media where they were seen fighting and behaving in a disorderly manner in Lautoka.

The men were also seen verbally abusing some people staying at a flat and several items were also thrown at some flat occupants. The video shows a flat occupant also throwing some items at the two men.

A police vehicle was seen arriving at the scene and leaving again after a while without taking anyone.

When questioned by Legend FM News on why Police did not take any action, Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says that the officer was alone and he took the vehicle to a safe location which was away from the commotion and he called for back up which came later and arrested the two men.

She says the decision was made to protect the officer's life and the property of the police and once back up arrived they executed the arrest.

The two men are in custody at the Lautoka Police Station as investigations continue.
