Another suspect allegedly involved in a daylight burglary captured on CCTV in the Nadawa in Nasinu area has been arrested.
Police say the 31-year-old suspect was arrested in Raiwaqa and is currently being questioned at the Valelevu Police Station.
Police are continuing their search for the third suspect.
Meanwhile, one of the three suspects, Savenaca Lutua Tamani, appeared before Nasinu Magistrate Krishan Prasad this afternoon after being charged with aggravated burglary and theft on 30th July.
A video of the incident, which has been widely shared on social media, shows the alleged robbers forcefully entering the property and stealing groceries, jewellery and other household items.
Magistrate Prasad denied bail to Tamani, stating that aggravated burglary is a serious offence and that police have a strong case against him.
The Magistrate also noted that the other two alleged accomplices have not yet been arrested.
Police Prosecutor Setareki Mocevakaca objected to bail, citing public interest following the circulation of CCTV footage of the incident on social media.
Mocevakaca told the court that protecting the community is fundamental.
Tamani told the court that he is the sole breadwinner for his family and looks after his two sons and elderly grandmother.
The matter has been transferred to the Suva High Court and has been adjourned to next Friday.
