A 25-year partnership between Leadership Fiji and Communications Fiji Limited continues to help shape future leaders through leadership programmes and community initiatives across the country.
Speaking on the long-standing relationship on fijivillage News, CEO of Leadership Fiji, Sharyne Fong acknowledges CFL for being one of Leadership Fiji’s founding partners and for supporting the organisation over the years.

Fong says CFL has played an important role in supporting Leadership Fiji through event coverage, sound systems and promoting recruitment for leadership programmes through its radio stations and fijivillage platforms.
She says the partnership has grown alongside Leadership Fiji as the organisation continues to expand its programmes.

Meanwhile, CFL Manager Charles Taylor says CFL has supported Leadership Fiji throughout its 25-year journey, and several members of the organisation have also completed the programme.
Taylor says he is also a Leadership Fiji alumnus after completing the programme in 2006, while several other CFL staff members have participated over the years, including this year’s participant, Alipate Narawa.
Fong says Leadership Fiji has expanded beyond its core programme and introduced the Executive Leadership Programme in 2024, with one CFL executive participating in this year’s intake.
She says the organisation has also introduced a Youth Leadership Programme aimed at young people between the ages of 16 and 19.
According to Fong, the programme has already been held in Ra and the Western Division and is continuing in Suva.
She says the youth initiative focuses on leadership, communication and career pathways while also helping young people deal with real-life challenges such as peer pressure, smoking and drugs.
