The Vodafone Fijiana XV are one win away from claiming the WXV Global Series Challenger 2026 title as they head into the final round this weekend against the Netherlands.
Fiji currently sits at the top of the standings with 10 points after securing two bonus-point victories, while the Netherlands are second on nine points and Spain are third on seven.
Only Fiji and the Netherlands remain in contention for the title.
The Fijiana will face the Netherlands in their final match, with the Dutch side having opened their campaign with a 70-0 win over Samoa before producing another strong performance against Brazil.
Fiji, meanwhile, secured a hard-fought 38-32 victory over Spain in the opening round before overcoming Hong Kong China, with their power and attacking skills proving decisive.
The match-up is expected to feature several key battles, including Fijiana players Alfreda Fisher, Adi Salote Nailolo and Varanisese Qoro against the Netherlands’ Linde van der Velden, Kika Mulling and Inger Jongerius.
If the match ends in a draw, Fiji would still claim the title if Spain defeats Brazil with a bonus point.
Fiji would also win the title if the Netherlands earn a four-try bonus point in a draw, as the Fijiana hold the higher world ranking.
The Netherlands-Fiji clash will determine the WXV Global Series Challenger champion, with the Fijiana looking to finish their campaign with the title.
The Fijiana will play the Netherlands Women in the WXV Global Series final this Saturday at 4pm in Hong Kong.
