Navua FC coach Rodeck Singh says the team is focused on improving its discipline and finishing as it prepares for the FMF Inter District Championship.
Singh says the team has learned important lessons from its recent BOG campaign and does not want a repeat of what happened during the tournament.
He says discipline will be a major focus, with the team determined not to lose players to red cards, particularly at crucial stages of the tournament.
Singh says the team is also working on its transition play and finishing after missing several scoring opportunities during the BOG.
He says the players are working to sharpen their finishing and ensure they are more clinical in front of goal.
Singh says Navua currently has no major injury concerns and hopes the team remains injury-free throughout the tournament.
He is also calling on Navua supporters to come out in numbers and back the team during the competition.
Navua is in Pool B of the Super Premier Division alongside Ba, Lautoka and Nadi.
The FMF IDC will be held from 6th to 11th October.
