Former Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama and former Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum have met with the Chairman of the Fiji Truth and Reconciliation Commission, Joaquim Da Fonseca.
Sayed-Khaiyum has posted a photo, saying it was a pleasure meeting the Chair of the Reconciliation Commission.
He says they had an engaging discussion and they appreciate his efforts.
The Truth and Reconciliation Commission was hoping to get targeted submissions from all the coup leaders and former leaders.
We are currently trying to confirm on whether Bainimarama and Sayed-Khaiyum will appear before the commission or make a submission.
