The Fiji National Rugby League confirmed this to fijivillage News, saying with the 2026 Rugby League World Cup now fast approaching, 15 members of the Bulikula squad remain in finals contention across the NRLW, Queensland’s BMD Premiership and the NSW Women’s Premiership.
They say for Fiji, it is an encouraging sign of the depth and quality available to the national women’s programme.

The Bulikula will make history this year by appearing at their first Rugby League World Cup after qualifying through the 2025 World Series in Canada.
Fiji thrashed Nigeria 62–4 in the final to secure the final women’s World Cup berth.
FNRL says that as preparations for the World Cup intensify, a number of Fiji’s players are still chasing domestic titles with their respective clubs.
The Women's Rugby League World Cup starts on the 8th of October, and runs through November 24, 2026.
