The concerned people say some luggage arriving in Tonga from Fiji is already damaged, opened, wet, or broken, and many people's belongings are missing and have never been found.
They say this is very disappointing and unprofessional.
One of the concerned relatives says their family travelled to Tonga last week from Australia and upon arrival, 5 out of their checked-in luggage was missing.
When approached by fijivillage News, Fiji Airways says it notes recent comments circulating on social media regarding baggage and security matters at Nadi International Airport.
They clarify that airport security screening and biosecurity processes at Nadi International Airport are managed by Fiji Airports Limited and the Biosecurity Authority of Fiji.
