National Federation Party President and parliamentarian Pio Tikoduadua says President Jioji Konrote was ungraciously compelled to read a FijiFirst campaign speech in parliament.

In his response to the President’s speech on the opening of parliament, Tikoduadua says he has known the President for the last 30 years.

He says unfortunately the words spoken by the President during his speech are not the type of words that he would speak in the military because he stood for the people.

Tikoduadua also says that he is sure that the leadership and bravery displayed by the President during his time as an army officer will come to the forefront in his role as a symbol of unity for our nation.
