Thousands of people have been forced to evacuate after a fast-moving wildfire doubled in size in western Canada.
The Bald Range fire has spread to more than 95 square kilometres across British Columbia's Summerland and Okanagan-Similkameen districts and remains out of control.
Authorities have ordered the evacuation of about 20,000 people from Summerland and neighbouring Peachland as the fire continues to spread. Power has also been cut across Summerland.
Officials say it is one of the fastest-moving wildfires the region has seen in recent years.
The number of homes destroyed is not yet known, while many residents also struggled to evacuate their horses as the blaze approached.
