Two juveniles were charged with rape last month with a 16-year-old boy charged with the rape of a 12-year-old boy from his village, while another 16-year-old boy was charged with the rape of a 15-year-old girl.

According to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, there were five people charged with five counts of sexual offences last month, with five victims, all under the age of 18 years.

There were four female victims and one male.

The ODPP says there were two incidents where the victims and the accused were related to one another.

A 28-year-old man was charged with the rape of his 16-year-old cousin, while in another incident, a 20-year-old man was charged with the rape of his 17-year-old cousin.

An 18-year-old boy was charged with the rape of a 16-year-old girl.
