Sweet Sensation is promising an energetic performance featuring everything from rock and reggae to R&B and Afro music when the band takes the stage at the Communications Fiji Limited (CFL) Gratitude Concert this Saturday.
Band leader Olsen J Sefo says the group is fully prepared and excited to entertain concertgoers with a diverse setlist that reflects the band's musical versatility while staying true to its roots.
He says while the band enjoys experimenting with different genres, they will never forget where it started.
Sefo describes performing at the CFL Gratitude Concert as both an honour and a blessing, saying the event celebrates local talent and recognises the role CFL has played in promoting Fijian music.
He says CFL has consistently supported local artists by giving their music airtime across its radio stations, helping showcase home-grown talent to audiences throughout the country.
He says the band is also looking forward to sharing the stage with some of Fiji's best-known musicians, adding that it is a privilege to perform alongside artists they admire.
The CFL Gratitude Concert will be held this Saturday at 1pm, with food stalls opening for families, while live performances will start at 3pm.
Sweet Sensation will perform at 4.05pm.
