Lelean continues Eastern Zone dominance in U17 grade

Lelean Memorial School continued its dominance in the Vodafone Eastern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby Union U17 competition with a 21-10 victory over Tailevu North College at St Joseph the Worker Primary School grounds.

Lelean displayed strong teamwork and determination throughout the match to overcome a spirited Tailevu North College outfit and claim an important win in the competition.

The victory was made even more special as the team celebrated the 17th birthday of teammate Orisi Moceituba from Nasoqo Village in Naitasiri.

Following the match, players and supporters joined in celebrating Moceituba's birthday, making it a memorable day as he marked both a personal milestone and a team victory.

Moceituba's mother, Lolohea Koroi, was also on the sidelines and joined in the celebrations with the team.

In another U17 result, Nakasi High School defeated Muaniweni Secondary School 27-3.

Meanwhile, Lelean U17 will take on Nakasi High School at Bau College Ground at 2.15pm tomorrow, while RKS will face Sila Central High School at 12.25pm at Burebasaga Ground.

In the U18 grade, Sila Central will face St John's College at 12.15pm tomorrow at Kings Ground, while RKS will take on Lelean at 3.05pm.

The Eastern Zone competition continues tomorrow at Kings Ground, Burebasaga Ground and Bau College Ground.
