Fiji international Setareki Bituniyata has been named the ProD2 Player of the Season after playing a key role in helping Provence qualify for the competition’s final.
The Nadroga-born forward with maternal links to Tailevu, has been recognised for his performances throughout the season as Provence pushed for promotion.
Bituniyata's latest achievement adds to an impressive year for the Fijian, who has also earned selection in the 68-member FIJI Water Flying Fijians squad for their upcoming Test against Japan and the Northern Tour.
Fiji will face Japan at 5.50pm on Saturday, October 24.
The Flying Fijians will then begin their November campaign against France on 8 November 8, followed by a Test against Ireland on November 15.
Fiji will conclude the Northern Tour against Italy on November 22.
