Getting back to their roots and knowing who they represent has been a major element in the FIJI Water Flying Fijians’ preparation for the Rugby World Cup and the results are now showing as they have recorded a historic 30-22 win against England at Twickenham.

The team spent a week in Taveuni before the Pacific Nations Cup.

Captain Waisea Nayacalevu says this group of boys, when compared to the other teams he has played with, is different and the bond they have is quite special.

Coach Simon Raiwalui says this is a huge victory for them and they have been building the team since July 1st .

Player of the match, Selestino Ravutaumada says everything had gone according to plan during the game.

He has acknowledged the players for having his back during training and on game day.

Ravutaumada has dedicated the win to everyone at home.

The Flying Fijians now turn their focus to the Rugby World Cup that is starting in about two weeks in France.

They take on Wales in their first match on Monday 11th September at 7am.
