The man alleged to have caused the death of a 14-year-old Farhan Nouman Ali in Nabua has passed away.
Police confirm that the 54-year-old suspect was brought in for further questioning at the Nabua Police Station yesterday when he complained of feeling unwell.
He was referred to the CWM Hospital for medical attention, where he was admitted and later died this morning.
A post mortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
Earlier, Police said the man allegedly lost control of his vehicle, collided with the side of a bus, and hit the student, who was standing at the traffic lights waiting to cross.
Ali later died at the hospital due to the injuries sustained.
He will be laid to rest today.
