Fiji Airways has launched a new brand anthem, Welcome to our Home on Fiji Day, celebrating more than a decade of its rebranding. The anthem captures the true spirit of Fiji through music, while giving back to our communities by inspiring young people from Pacific Voices to be part of a world class project.

Designed to welcome travellers the moment they step onboard, the anthem reflects the warmth, care and spirit of the nation.

Fiji Airways Managing Director and CEO, Paul Scurrah says when their passengers hear this song, they want them to feel like they are part of our Fiji Airways Vuvale and part of our beautiful home – Fiji, with the care, warmth and happiness we are known for.

Primanavia sang and performed the Fiji Airways new brand song at the Helloworld Frontliners Forum held here in Fiji – a powerful showcase that introduced the anthem to close to 500 travel partners from around the world.

The anthem is a cultural milestone for the airline, symbolising Fiji Airways’ role as both a World Class airline and the heart of Fijian identity.

Performed by celebrated local artists Apakuki Nalawa, Ra V and Talei Burns, the project began with traditional Fijian songs, shaped into a modern yet deeply cultural composition.

It reflects Fiji’s diversity, incorporating Fijian, English, and Hindi lyrics.

Each layer adds depth and unity, symbolising the nation’s strength in its many voices and echoing how song has carried Fijian culture and traditions for centuries.

Central to the project is the choir — regarded as Fiji’s greatest instrument. By involving young people from Pacific Voices, the initiative captures the way Fijians learn to sing in church choirs, where harmonies are passed down by ear, voices are blended in community, and music becomes a living expression of culture and faith.

Fiji’s popular artist and key vocalist on the anthem Apakuki Nalawa (Kuki) says as Fijians, singing is in our blood, as we learn it in our villages, in school and church and some like him pursue it for life, as a career.

He says to bring that spirit into a song that will welcome the world to Fiji is an honour — it is like opening the door to our home with music.

Ra V says for centuries, song has been a way to share our culture and traditions, and this anthem is a tool of inspiration, cultural diversity and empowerment — it carries the spirit of our people and our airline, and welcomes everyone home.

As Fiji Airways celebrates over a decade since it rebranded, the launch of its new brand sound reinforces the airline’s commitment to showcasing Fiji’s heritage, culture, and community to the world.
