Fiji Labour Party Leader - Mahendra Chaudhry

The Fiji Labour Party is aiming to win 28 seats in next month’s general elections however if no party makes the majority, the FLP will not work with the FijiFirst.

While speaking on fijivillage Straight Talk With Vijay Narayan, party leader Mahendra Chaudhry says they can come to an agreement with the People’s Alliance and NFP and see what the results show.

He says the country needs politicians who are honest, committed and willing to work for the country and not for themselves or their private interest.

The former Prime Minister says his party has always been considered an underdog.

Chaudhry adds in 1987 people thought they could not win but they did and the same thing happened in 1999.

He further says the country needs a Labour Government.
