The President of the Fiji Bus Operators Association Nisar Ali Shah says business will only improve to the extent they want it to when hotels and nightclubs re-open.

Shah says they are eagerly waiting for tourism to resume.

Shah further says they are looking forward to the opening of schools as this would mean their operations will begin to normalise as 30% of their operation consists of providing services to school students.

He adds as a bus operator, he has noted a slight increase in travelling passengers in Nadi since the opening of businesses at 80% to fully vaccinated people.
