A three-year-old boy from Kulukulu, Sigatoka, has tragically died following a road accident this morning.
Police say the child was struck by a vehicle driven by a 38-year-old woman from Sigatoka.
The accident occurred in Sigatoka Town when the boy was crossing the road with his grandmother.
He was rushed to the Sigatoka Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The driver is currently in police custody, and investigations into the accident are ongoing.
