Rum Co. of Fiji has achieved its strongest result in seven years at the 2026 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, earning medals for all 11 products entered, including two prestigious Double Gold awards.
The clean sweep has lifted the company's international medal tally to 296 and reinforces its position as a world-class rum producer.
Head of Marketing Alcohol at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Fiji, Etrina Simpson says the results mark a pivotal moment for the brand.
Simpson says Rum Co. of Fiji has delivered strong results at the competition over the past seven years, but this year has set a new benchmark.
She says a 100 percent win rate combined with Double Gold recognition reflects both sustained excellence and a significant step forward in global recognition.
Simpson says achieving a clean sweep at one of the most competitive spirits competitions in the world elevates Rum Co. of Fiji into a different league.
She says the medals represent the highest level of peer recognition in the industry, and receiving them alongside consistent performance across the range demonstrates the strength of both the product and the brand.
She adds that this accelerates the company's global trajectory, strengthens their negotiating power in key markets and reinforces that Fiji is no longer an emerging player but a serious contender in the premium rum category
Rum Co. of Fiji says at the heart of this success is a distinctive production story.
They say every bottle is handcrafted at the South Pacific Distillery in Lautoka, where the entire process from locally grown sugarcane through to distillation and barrel ageing takes place.
They add that with nearly five decades of expertise, the rums capture the essence of Fiji through the skill of its people and the environment that shapes them.
The two Double Gold medals were awarded to RATU White Rum and BATI Dark Rum.
Silver medals were awarded to BATI Spiced Rum, BATI Coconut Rum Liqueur, BATI Banana Rum Liqueur, BATI White Chocolate Rum Liqueur, BATI White Rum, RATU Dark Rum and RATU Spiced Rum, while RATU Signature Blend Rum received a Bronze Medal.

The San Francisco World Spirits Competition is regarded as one of the most influential and competitive spirits competitions in the world, with more than 5,000 entries from over 70 countries assessed through blind tasting by leading industry experts.
