New Zealand-based Extra Bula FC defender Semi Nabenu is set to join Rewa FC after completing the mandatory 30-day stand-down period required for a change from professional to amateur status.
Nabenu is expected to strengthen the Delta Tigers’ defensive line as the side prepares for two major competitions, the BiC Fiji FACT and the 2026 OFC Men’s Champions League.
The side is expected to benefit from Nabenu’s international experience as they aim to build momentum heading into the Fiji FACT.
Rewa is in Group A alongside defending champions Labasa, Suva and Navua in what is expected to be the tournament's most competitive pool.
In a separate development, the Fiji Football Association has confirmed that the first application under the Mid-Season Transfer Window has been received.
Meanwhile, Afraz Ali has expressed an interest in joining Lautoka FC from Nadi FC.
The transfer window runs from 1st June to 15th June, and all applications will be processed in accordance with Fiji FA transfer regulations.
The Fiji FACT will be played from 19th to 21st June at Subrail Park in Labasa.
The semi-finals and final will be held the following week at the same venue.
