16-year-old Vasiti Rekisa has set her sights on representing the Fiji Women's Drua side and fulfilling her dream of one day wearing the Fijiana jersey on the international stage.
Speaking to fijivillage News during the launch of the Weet-Bix Raluve Competition today, Rekisa says she is determined to continue developing her game and reach the highest level of women's rugby in Fiji.
The team captain began playing in the competitive Raluve competition while in form three and has represented her side at the Under-18 level for the past two years.
Originally from Papua New Guinea, Rekisa says the experience gained through the Raluve competition has significantly boosted her confidence and sharpened her rugby skills.

She is looking forward to leading her team this season and remains confident they can deliver a strong performance in the competition.
