Manchester City have made a winning start to their English Premier League campaign, coming from behind to beat Bournemouth 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium.
Bournemouth took the lead in the 26th minute through Marcus Tavernier and held onto their advantage for most of the match.
However, City turned the game around late, with Marc Guéhi scoring the equaliser in the 84th minute before Joško Gvardiol struck in the first minute of stoppage time to seal the win.
Erling Haaland had several opportunities to score but was unable to find the back of the net.
Elsewhere, Liverpool drew 2-all with Newcastle United, while Brighton recorded a convincing 4-nil victory over Aston Villa.
