With the return of star fullback and All Blacks winger Will Jordan to the side, things are looking up for the Crusaders looking to make a statement against the Chiefs tonight.
Also returning this weekend is star winger Chay Fihaki who has been out since April.
A win over the Chiefs, who are without influential first five-eighth/fullback Damian McKenzie because of concussion, will inch the Crusaders closer towards their goal of staying in their own beds for the first round of the finals in early June.
Making a return into the starting lineup for the Chiefs is centre Quinn Tupaea back from a scheduled rest.
The Crusaders have won their last two against the Chiefs, as many as they won across their seven prior meetings.
The Crusaders have won eight of their last nine games in Christchurch.
The Crusaders play the Chiefs at 7.05 tonight.
