Grammar breaks 21-year Deans drought with 36-21 win over Lelean
After 21 years then Suva Grammar School is able to lift the Vodafone Super Deans trophy again after overcoming Lelean Memorial School 36-21 in the Under 18 final at the HFC Bank Stadium this evening.

Grammar started flexing their muscles from the beginning of the game as their forwards dominated the Lelean scrum.

Indiscipline was also to blame for the Davuilevu side as they played 20 minutes with one man down after receiving 2 yellow cards.

Grammar ran in 6 tries to Lelean's three.

The boys from Nasese were leading 24-14 at the break.

After the break they were only able to score one try a piece.

Grammar quickly rolled in their bomb squad about 5 minutes after the break, lifting the tempo and rolling over their opposition.

Had Grammar opted for scrums instead of lineouts, more Lelean players would have been sin-binned as they dominated that area.
