Crowds flock to Navtarang Sargam Show as personalities light up the stage at Fiji Showcase
People turned out in large numbers for the Navtarang/Radio Sargam Fiji Showcase Show 2026, with many travelling from as far as the west to be part of one of the event's biggest crowd-pullers.

Senior Content Director Satya Nand says this year’s show has set a new benchmark, with strong audience engagement and positive response to performances and prizes.

He says every performer, including personalities Atishwar, Jai, and various dance groups, delivered standout acts that contributed to the event’s success.

Nand adds that the production continues to grow each year, raising the standard for future shows, including the Navtarang Sargam Bollywood Dhamaka Show.

He also assures audiences who missed the event that the team will be taking the show to different locations soon.

Meanwhile, Khalsa Road resident, Reema Reshmi Nand says her mother travelled all the way from Namau, Ba yesterday to watch the show, which their family has never missed.

Nand, who was accompanied by her brother Sanjesh says she especially loves watching Jai and Satya Nand perform on stage and looks forward to their energetic entrances every year.

She says they arrived at around 4pm to avoid the traffic and ensure they did not miss the opening of the show.

Nand also took advantage of the Fiji Showcase bargains, buying items in bulk at discounted prices to save money.

She says the show was one not to be missed, describing it as absolutely amazing and packed with comedy and entertainment.

50-year-old Sangeeta Devi, who travelled from Vakabalea in Navua with her two sons, says she has never missed the show and that her favourite personalities are Angeleen and Jai from Radio Sargam.

Devi, an ardent listener says it is always special to see in person the radio personalities she listens to every day.

She says radio is her companion and she enjoys the way Satya Nand and Bhaiya Ji keep audiences entertained with their comedy and dance performances.

Another resident, Sandhaya Devi of Nadawa, says she missed last year's show because she was in New Zealand but was determined to return this year to enjoy the packed line-up of entertainment.

She says the dance performances by the various groups were the highlight of the evening and that she thoroughly enjoyed the show.

People can also look forward to a packed line-up of entertainment throughout tomorrow, with international and aerial performers AussieBela set to light up the stage from 1.30pm to 2pm, before returning again in the evening from 6.30pm to 7pm on the international entertainment stage.

Adding to the excitement, Brazilian juggler Piva will thrill audiences with a performance from 3.30pm to 4pm, and will return for another show from 6.30pm to 7pm at the internal entertainment stage.

Live music will take centre stage from 5.00pm to 6.00pm, with the Viti FM Back to Front Band bringing their signature sound to the crowd.

Wrapping up the evening’s entertainment, the Sweet Sensation Band will keep the energy going from 7pm to 8pm, closing off a full day of performances for families and attendees.

Meanwhile, Fiji Showcase continues until next Saturday.
