Team Fiji swimmer Anahira McCutcheon narrowly missed out on qualifying for the Women's 50 metres freestyle final after finishing 6th with a time of 25.53 seconds at the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
McCutcheon qualified for the semifinals after finishing fourth in the heats with a time of 25.45 seconds.
Taking a look at last night's results, in the Men's 50 metres Butterfly, Reuben Taylor came 4th in his heat with a time of 26.18 seconds, Hansel McCaig finished 5th with a time of 25.00 seconds, while David Tolu Young came 6th in his heat with 24.28 seconds.
Don Younger swam a time of 2 minutes and 39.77 seconds in the Men's 200m breaststroke heats, while in the Mixed 4x100 metres medley relay Team Fiji came 7th with a time of 4 minutes and 17.01 seconds.
