Belgium have thrashed co-hosts the USA 4-1 in their FIFA World Cup Round of 16 clash to book a quarter-final showdown with Spain.
Charles De Ketelaere scored twice in the first half as Belgium punished Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Malik Tillman scored the USA’s only goal of the match in the first half. Folarin Balogun started for the USA after his one-match ban was suspended.
Hans Vanaken extended Belgium’s advantage in the 57th minute before Romelu Lukaku sealed the emphatic victory with a goal in the third minute of stoppage time.
Belgium will now face Spain in the quarter-final at 7am on Saturday.
The quarter finals begin on Friday.
Meanwhile, in tomorrow's remaining Round of 16 matches, Argentina will take on Egypt at 4am, while Switzerland will face Colombia at 8am.
