Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff escaped unhurt after three men on motorcycles allegedly opened fire at him in Mumbai’s Juhu area yesterday evening, leaving three people, including his driver and an autorickshaw driver, injured.

Shroff was reportedly returning after playing football at a club when the incident occurred near Pushpa Park in Juhu.

According to police, the actor’s driver, Firdos, sustained injuries to his hand, while two other people, including an autorickshaw driver, were also injured in the shooting.

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the attack after gangster Anil Pandit claimed that he and Harman Sandhu were behind it.

In a post, Pandit claimed that they had contacted the actor and tried to explain things to him, but he did not understand.

He added that they had therefore made sure to explain things to him properly.

Pandit also warned that the attacks would continue until actors stopped working with Bollywood actor Salman Khan.

According to reports, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has allegedly targeted Salman Khan and people associated with him because of a decades-old dispute linked to the 1998 blackbuck poaching case.

Blackbucks are considered sacred by the Bishnoi community, which has a strong tradition of protecting wildlife.

However, Mumbai Police has not confirmed the alleged involvement of the Bishnoi gang.

Following the incident, Mumbai Police officials and ambulances arrived at the scene.

Police cordoned off the area and deployed 15 teams to trace the attackers.

Police are also examining CCTV footage from cameras installed in the surrounding area to identify the suspects.

Officials said the reason behind the shooting and the attackers’ motive remain unclear.

The ongoing investigation is expected to establish what led to the incident.

The shooting has caused concern in Mumbai’s film industry and the Juhu area.
