President, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu, led a State delegation and members of the Vanua o Cakaudrove to the ireguregu for the late Momo na Tui Vuda, Ratu Eparama Kitione Tavaiqia, at Viseisei Village in Vuda.
The reguregu also reaffirmed the traditional relationship between the Vanua o Lalagavesi and the Vanua o Vunisei.
During the reguregu, the Turaga Na Tui Cakau acknowledged the late Momo na Tui Vuda as a respected and well-regarded leader who will be remembered for his humility, kindness and service to his people.

Ratu Eparama passed away at the age of 95 and will be laid to rest today at the traditional chiefly burial grounds in Viseisei Village.
Traditional protocols continue in the village, with the late chief spending his final night at his home ahead of his burial.
The Vanua o Cakaudrove joined the people of Viseisei in paying their respects to the late Momo na Tui Vuda and extending their condolences to his family.
