Nasinu FC will be aiming to reach the Extra Battle of the Giants final for the first time since 2019 when it faces nine-time champions Stratum/PPCL Rewa FC in the second semi-final this Saturday.
The Giant Killers bounced back from an opening 1-0 loss to Extra Supermarket Labasa FC, beating Blue Gas Navua FC 1-nil and Global Care Suva FC 2-1 to secure their place in the last four.
Rewa topped Group B with six points after beating Khelvin Engineering Lautoka FC 2-0, and Dayal’s Steel Ba FC 3-0.
The Delta Tigers will enter the semi-final with plenty of experience, with several players having featured in the OFC Men’s Champions League earlier this season.
Nasinu will be determined to continue its impressive run and cause another upset when the two sides meet at 4.30pm this Saturday at 4R Stadium, Govind Park, Ba.
Meanwhile, Ba will face Suva in the first semi-final at 2pm.
The final is scheduled for 3pm on Sunday.
