NSW have been dealt with an injury blow to Mitchell Moses where the five-eighth pulled up in training on Monday with a suspected hamstring.
He completed training before undergoing extra drills until he felt a problem with his leg.
Moses will undergo scans and will hope to be fit in time for State of Origin 2.
The Blues have made contingency plans by calling up Bulldogs star Matt Burton, who
impressed as the Dogs ended their losing streak on Friday by beating Melbourne Storm 30-20.
While Ethan Strange is set to start if Moses is unavailable in what will be his Blues debut.
But losing Moses would be a significant blow for the Blues and coach Laurie Daley.
NSW Blues will take on the Queensland Maroons at 10.05 tonight.
