Dhurandhar has been declared India’s highest-grossing Hindi film, with Jio Studios claiming a net domestic collection of $209 million after 33 days in cinemas.

Jio Studios shared a celebratory poster announcing the milestone, featuring Ranveer Singh with the message, “Thank you India. Ganpati Bappa Morya.”

The film overtook Pushpa 2, whose Hindi version earned $207 million.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy thriller stars Ranveer Singh as Hamza, an Indian operative infiltrating gang and terror networks in Karachi.

The film also features Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt and R Madhavan in pivotal roles.

Dhurandhar Part 2 is scheduled for release in March.
