Shah Rukh Khan has suffered a back injury while shooting for his upcoming film “King”, directed by Siddharth Anand.

The actor was reportedly filming in Mumbai when the injury occurred.

Khan travelled to the United States for treatment and is now in the UK recovering with his family by his side.

India Today says a source confirmed that the injury is minor, and the actor is recovering well, however, the filming of the action thriller has been temporarily paused and will resume in September.

King will feature Shah Rukh Khan alongside his daughter, Suhana Khan, in her big-screen debut after her Netflix film The Archies.

The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Anil Kapoor, and Abhay Verma in key roles.
