Bollywood: Rani Mukerji joins Shah Rukh Khan in 'King'

Actress Rani Mukerji is set to join Shahrukh Khan’s much anticipated film ‘King’ in an upcoming action-thriller directed by Sidharth Anand.

Times of India says according to a report by Pinkvilla, the actress will portray the mother of Suhana Khan’s character in an extended cameo.

They say this film marks the reunion of Mukerji and Shah Rukh Khan, who have previously collaborated on hits like ‘Veer Zaara,’ ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,’ and Kabhi Alvida Na Kahena.

Fans are eagerly awaiting this exciting new collaboration, which promises to be a major Bollywood release, with Khan in the titular role as an assassin.

Other actors include Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, and Arshad Warsi.

King is set to release in 2026.
