Rewa coach Ratu Tevita Waranaivalu says his players can use their Extra Battle of the Giants final defeat as motivation as they prepare to defend their Inter District Championship (IDC) title.
Waranaivalu says the team went through injuries, suspensions, sickness and other challenges during the two week tournament but managed to reach the final.
He says the players gave everything for the team and he is proud of their effort despite the result.
Waranaivalu says the defeat should not be about blaming individuals, but about learning from mistakes and returning stronger.
He also expressed his graitutde to the officials, families, friends and supporters who stood behind the side.
Waranaivalu says Rewa now has three weeks to work harder, improve and prepare for the IDC, where they will defend their title.
The Inter-District Championship will be held from 6th to 11th October.
